Swim
What would you do differently?: Practice more lake swims, I like it, I'm just not very good at it yet. Transition 1
Comments: This was a long route for a transition area, but overall I did well. Had everything needed in the T area. Was able to get the socks and shoes on relatively quick and then went for the sunglasses and helmet. Finally getting use the the transitions. What would you do differently?: Nothing, I'm very happy with the checklist I used the night before, I knew where everything was placed in my area. Bike
What would you do differently?: I'd like to get more biking in and bike trainer time. The trainer seems to be the key, so when the weather is not cooperating I'll be on the trainer. Came across a group that trains specifically for tris, seems like a good group. I'll check into it this week and the probability of me joining is high. Transition 2
Comments: T1 has become an easy transition for me. Looking at the other scores I did okay. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Definitely need to get out and run more, although I'm happy any time I break 29 minutes in a 5K, I know I could do better. What would you do differently?: Run more, it's now my weakest leg. Post race
Warm down: Walked around, wasn't able to get a massage afterwards. Stretched. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing, I gave this race about all I had and it's the best time I have had in a Triathlon to date Event comments: Lots of voluteers and a great location. This was a lot of fun and will definitely do it again next year. Last updated: 2009-01-03 12:00 AM

Got a massage the day before, trigger point method. Did a 10 minutes bike ride and 2x5 minute runs, the last two minutes of each run I went full out. (Brick) Also did 400 yards in the Moss Creek pool. Felt good.
Just took my Hammer gel 4 oz and Enduralytes (3) in the a.m. No food, No cramping.
