HRTC Bike ride Sunday 6/21/2009

A couple of us - and by a couple, I mean, it could very well just be two of us - are planning on riding 52 miles from Mary Jo Peckham park on Sunday.

This ride is un-sponsored, un-sagged, and un-supported, so bring your own fuel, repair tools, etc.

There is a good gas station at about mile 31 in Fulshear. The ride is nice...and nice and flat. We plan on taking it semi-easy because of Buffalo Springs next weekend, so we will probably try to stay in the 19mph range...but we will see where the day takes us!!

To get to Peckham Park - Take I-10 to PinOak, ext and take a right. Left on Highway 90, right on Ave D. About 1 mile up the road is a little baseball field park. Park in the little lot. We have a green CRV.

We will be rolling out of the lot at 6:30am to try to beat some of the heat.

Once we get back, we can do a two-ish mile run - from the lot, run south to Hwy 90 and back.
