Pre-race routine:

2 Hour drive from the House.
Raisin Bran Crunch for Breakfast. This my usual breakfast so I figured why break the routine. Got to the race 8 am. Registration was smooth and there was plenty of room in the transition area.
Event warmup:

Swam in the roped off beach area. It was my first open water event this season so I had to get the panic breathing out of the way.

probably not wear a wetsuit

I felt good on the bike and may have held back a little too much for the run. I wanted to average around 19.
What would you do differently?:

I got stuck behind a group of 4 riding into the transition. I lost about 20 seconds there I think. Oh, so I would pass them.

Not sure. I usually don't take this long.

I was dissappointed with my swim. I think I am faster.
