Link to BT without the "www." logs you out

Several times in the threads, you'll see links to places on BT... sometimes, for whatever reason, people omit the "www." from the link target.  Clicking on this link brings you to the page but you're not logged into BT anymore, presumably the login cookie references "www.beginnertriathlete.com" ?

Other sites do not behave this way, for example, http://www.gmail.com  or http://gmail.com  bring me to the same (logged-in) place, perhaps because they have a redirect in place at the top-level?

Anyway, just pointing it out.
