gymgirlx - 2009-08-10 6:11 PM post pics. later..... I'm down 8 lbs for the summer ( mid. May), very excited. My clothes fit better and my running skirts fit now, YAY!!! 124-125 now, still too much for my frame, but it's coming off slowly....

congrats!!!

for me it's not about hunger, it's just "I want sugar" - I know it's will power, but I never seem to have enough!!!

I have a food scale!!!  (you didn't ask who *uses* them :-p)

Ugh - it's like no matter how much I want to, I can't keep myself in check.  I buy only good food, but then my boyfriend comes over and we buy icecream.  Free doughnuts in the lobby every Monday morning (I just can't say no).  Not enough time to cook, so I end up eating out...

I know I need ot sit and write it all out, I just don't want to spend the time  (or, I guess, ultimately, face myself and be honest).

I will say though, I'm trying to get in strength training about 2 times/week on top of tri training (my records here haven't been the most accurate, so don't go 100% by them - I think I recorded everything last week).  I took a pic of my upper back yesterday, and it looks hot - so there are *parts* of me that are ripped - now if I could just cut out the extra food/sugar and get my abs in shape, I'd be happy!

Anyone have tips on dealing with an insatiable (sp?) sweet tooth???  I know you're 'supposed' to start losing the cravings after 2-3 weeks of no sugar, but I don't know if I will ever be able to make it even 1 week without giving in!!

I am 100% in your boat! my sweet tooth will be my death. And i tend to be up and down on keeping track of everything. my schedule is super wacked, so that doesnt help. One thing about substitue sugars, they tend to make your body crave MORE sugar (real sugar) your brain thinks its getting sugar, but your body isnt getting any of the calories...hence the craving.

my workouts are coming out of a slump. I cant complain too much since i have dropped 11lbs since mid june

Did anybody hear about the "new" 5 year study that just came out about how exerc. doesnt help in shedding the pounds? WTF!!

Got my weight increased in the last month, mostly lean mass with a bit of fat (circa 85 kg)

I went with friend to do a bit competition of our own to get more definition until the Olympia weekend on October, but I won't be too crazy dropping the body fat.. it's too cold for swimming

Here is this morning picture:

Can I say 'End Result' if it's still a work in progress?  When does round 2 start?
