Why is everyone talking about Farrar so much this year?

Paul and Phil were just saying that he's one of the first good candidates for an American sprinter since the 60s.  Looks like he did well during the Tour of California and took second in two stages of the Giro d'Italia.

Wow...he's young!  Same age as my little brother - 25!

Yeah... its just... well... when Garmin started it was all about these guys coming through and yet Im yet to really se them perform... on the major international stage I guess...

I guess tonight we will see!

I reckon in the next 45 minutes...

Just because you want to beat another person. You're wicked.

Jen pick three riders to win, quick.

Do we give her slowest time from yesterday, CHR15's 3rd with Wiggins?

That's kind of what I like so much about the Garmin team.  I like that they are taking the younger guys and giving them a chance to see how they develop.  On a lot of the other teams, I feel like you don't hear as much about the younger riders.

It does depend on the team... Garmin is young so is a lot of Agritubel..

It also has to do with how the team directors view the best way of bringing through young riders...especially in terms of grand tours... some think its best to wait unless someone shows amazing abilities in recovery...

Versus has a LOT of commercials and interviews that I end up skipping when I want to catch up.  Plus 30 minutes of stage preview coverage at the beginning.  It goes pretty quickly that way.
