My first Sprint is this Sunday and I missed my S/B Brick on Monday due to work/kids.  I am going to do it today (Tues) and a short pool swim on Wednesday.   Is a B/R Brick on Thursday too close to the race?  I did one last week 18miles/4 miles, and it felt great.  Is the extra Brick necessary, or will it take away from my rest/taper?

Do one for like an hour max, go real easy. No need to go hard or you may harm your race result on the weekend.

You know your body and how it will react better than anyone else but I wouldn't think it wise to put too much stress on your legs a couple of days before your race.  If you want to get the brick just take it a little easier than normal.  Just my 2 cents.

It's not likely that you'll do better in your race by doing this brick.  It certainly is not "necessary."  Especially since you are doing one today... I don't see the point of it.

Do a short bike Thursday, short run Friday, but not this brick... no point.
