ILRA Saturday 7/11

I can't 100% commit, but Jamie and I may be able to make it.  I would love to get a "mock" tri in before our next race on 7/19.

Jason, I'll keep you posted on the time, but swim first, then hub wants to bike Kensington for variety so we'll probably exit ILRA over to Kensington for a loop then back to ILRA.  Makes for a nice ride......

Sounds good.  I talked with Jamie (she's at work), and she said we are good to go.  We'll even join you for the ride over at Kensington as well.

I'm assuming you'll be heading out from the Kent Lake parking lot?

I'd like to ride, but I'll be starting earlier.  Keep an eye out for me. 

I'm looking for 50 miles of easy ridin'.

Will be in the Kent Lake lot ~ 9:30 (couldn't get better half to agree to anything earlier).  Swim in Trout Lake first then loop-de-loo on the bike.  I have 2 hrs to do.  Hubster is undetermined time.  I don't know the cut thru for Kensington so I head down Grand River, but Jason if you know I'd be happy to follow :->

Will be in silver Honda accord this time.  Hub is tall guy (6'5) and will be de facto lifeguard as he will just hang whilst we swim.

I'll be riding earlier, but I'll keep an eye out for you.  Starting at 8am, I think. 

I know the cut through on the paved path.  If that's the one you're thinking of.

Jason, have we met?  I'm REALLY bad with names, but I briefly met someone back in May.  If that was you, and you recognize me tomorrow, give me a shout.  I'm always game for meeting up with BT'ers! 

I believe we have. It would have either been at the "Unofficial" BT Tri at ILRA back in May, or at Hawk Island (either practice or Tri).

well ain't this weather a pisser? It's raining where I'm at 7:40 and car's all packed up, just waiting for the husband to roll outta the rack.  Hope it passes quickly as I really dont want to do 2 hrs on the trainer.....

Maybe we'll see you there, but understand if you bail as the weather's looking rather shaky on the radar through the noon hour.....

After your last HIM I'd think that a  little rain wouldn't bother you at all!

I think we will chance it.  At least drive over there and re-evaluate.

heh, heh, too chez.  I've had enuf rain to last me a lifetime. 

Man, yee of little faith over here.  I turned the hub's alarm off and lo and behold it gets sunny.  So we're staying local b/c of afternoon obligations.

But decided due to more reliable weather Sunday we're gonna head out.

You missed a great swim.  The water was so refreshing.   We even met up with Matt and he was nice enough to go a slow pace for a loop around ILRA.
