Apologies if this has been asked before, but I was just wondering how many of you do Bikram?

I've done a few sessions so far, and I really enjoy the pain and suffering. Okay, I'm lying. It's torture, but it feels like there might be some tri benefits, especially the stretching of my body in new and ugly ways.

Gallons of sweat and spandex...gotta love it!!

If is is my nephew does it and swears by it.

I don't do bikram, but i do a power yoga class on steroids.  Since doing so, I've alleviated my hamstring and piriformis syndrome and am generally faster with most activities and I recover faster after workouts. I do it at least 1X per week, and sometimes 2X.

It is outstanding and I highly recommend it.  It will definitely help with injury prevention.

It's also called hot yoga. The temp is 105 degrees I believe, and it's very humid! There are 24 poses I think. I lose count after the first few as I'm in survival mode after that.

My only advice is don't eat a big meal before, or you might find it all over yourself.

Give it a try, it's a wicked workout!!!!

Cheers,
