Total Time = 1h 27m 8s
Overall Rank = 297/404
Age Group = 20-24
Age Group Rank = 6/6
Pre-race routine:

I watched UFC 100 the night before and didn't get to bed until midnight. Not the smartest decision, but it was with a lot of friends and we had fun. If I had any chance of making a podium, then I would have gone to bed earlier.

I woke up at 4, had some coffee and a peanut butter and honey sandwich.
Swim
  • 06m 42s
  • 300 meters
  • 02m 14s / 100 meters
Comments:

Was a decent swim overall. One second slower than my last tri.
Transition 1
  • 02m 10s
Comments:

Didn't put socks on. Made my transition much faster than my last tri.
What would you do differently?:

Still need to get use to getting on and off of my bike.
Bike
  • 42m 22s
  • 12 miles
  • 16.99 mile/hr
Comments:

Was able to say in aero position entire time, except when drinking. A very solid ride for me.
Transition 2
  • 01m 58s
Comments:

Put socks on, which slowed me down. Took some accelerade, which I think helped my run.
What would you do differently?:

I might try some training runs without socks. Not sure if my feet can handle it.
Run
  • 33m 58s
  • 3 miles
  • 11m 19s  min/mile
Comments:

Happy with my run! It is still very slow, but a 1:30 min/mile improvement over my last tri. Calves were very tight from the bike. They were holding me back. Im hoping that my race pace will be the same as my training pace once my biking strength improves.

Event comments:

Very fun race, will do it again next year.
