Amica Triathlon at Lake Wylie - Who's in?

So who is in for the Amica Triathlon at Lake Wylie on July 25th?

I rode the bike course 3x yesterday to get a feel for it...it will be quite fast.  There are some uphills in the first three miles (going up Rt 49) but the road is some of the smoothest asphalt I have been on so it made the hills seem pretty easy.  You turn onto Youngblood Road and the smooth road is officially over.  Youngblood is the other extreme...very rough for about a mile but fairly flat.  The road then smoothes out but unfortunately you head directly into a head wind.  I swear there was one spot that would have blown me backwards up a hill.  Luckily that only last a 1/2 mile or so until you get below the wind.  

There is a roundabout onto Palisades Parkway.  Once you hit the parkway...get on the 12 tooth cog!  There is a 40mph downhill just after the roundabout (I coasted 37 on one lap).  Weeeee.  Three more 30+mph rollers that none of which are steep climbs.  The very last hill on Palisades Parkways is pretty steep and I had to granny gear it to stay in my seat.  After that, it downhill again to T2.  Crosswind on the bridge can be gusty but it wasn't too bad.  Final stretch into T2 is downhill.  There are some big speedbumps into T2 so I don't know what they are gonna do...if they don't ramp them, make sure your fillings are in tight!

Now for the run portion...lets just say the course is the community called River Hills.  I rode the run course and I can safely confirm that will definately be the hardest 5k course I have done.  There is NO flat portions on the course when you hit the road.  It is an out and back on a road that would be better suited for a roller coaster!  The good thing is that there is quite a bit of shade (at least there was at 10am).
