Subject: Weight Gainer Shakes?
I am having trouble eating enough calories to even maintain my weight. In the past, I've tried some different "gainers" but they've always been hard on my stomache and left me feeling bloated. A friend of mine has been trying a gainer called MUTANT MASS by PVL and says it's been easier to digest and has given him good results. Has anyone had experience with weight-gain shakes? Any brands to recommend?

I used to use this and loved it,
4 scoops whey protein, vanilla or unflavoured, get a good qulaity whey protein isolate.
1 cup real ice ream not frozen dessert
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
2 banana
1/4 cup honey
3-4cups of milk depending on how you like the consistancy
some ice if you like it slushy
I cant remember all the numbers perfectly, drink this over the day, not in one sitting,
I think in total around 100-120 grams protein, i think around 200grams or so carbs, and around 30 grams or so fat, with 4 cals per 1 gram protein and 1 gram carb and 9 cal for 1 gram fat, puts it around 1000+ cals.  Eat good clean food the rest of the day 5 meals or so, depending on starting weight and your goal.  Make a good pre workout and post workout meal too.  Can get pricey but it is not loaded with artificial sweetners and preservatives a lot of the mass gainers have, there is some real good qulaity food in there.
I am pretty sure you can look this recipe up on google, keywords, whey protein, ice cream, peanut butter shake
Good Luck

I used to have the same problem, and realized I wasn't eating as much as I thought I was. Add an extra pb&j + a glass of milk before you go to sleep. Even if feel it will be too much, act as if its the medicine that's helping you gain/ maintain weight. Also eat a bigger breakfast. Add in extra sides with your meals, you'll gain/ maintain the weight you want. IMO stay away from those types of shakes, just get your calories from real nutritionally dense foods and you'll be fine.
