Swim
  • 30m 5s
  • 1500 meters
  • 02m 01s / 100 meters
Comments:

Just didn't feel smooth, Got into a rhythm on back portion. Just felt off.
What would you do differently?:

Not start in middle of wave, start on outside and get comfortable to start, too much contact through-out.
Transition 1
  • 01m 50s
Comments:

Good transition
What would you do differently?:

Nothing
Bike
  • 1h 35m 30s
  • 24.9 miles
  • 15.64 mile/hr
Comments:

I need to get my drivetrain fixed. No high gears availbe for climbing. Also vomitted on bike and my allergies got to me bad out there.
What would you do differently?:

Lose weight and get new drive train, I work way too hard to pull my butt up the hills. And slipping on my gear just killed me.
Transition 2
  • 00m 57s
Comments:

Great transition time, especially with long run to rack
What would you do differently?:

Bring salt and water with me on run,
Run
  • 1h 10m 33s
  • 6.2 miles
  • 11m 23s  min/mile
Comments:

Cramping on way out and on the one downhill lynch, I had a side ache so bad I had to walk for 5 minutes because I couldn't breath
What would you do differently?:

Electroyltes, need to take them with me out of T2
Post race
Warm down:

Rested and stretched. Ate had a beer.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Bad training taper and nutrition (before, during the race)

Event comments:

Always well organized, and this year a shuttle to the top of the hill. No walking up the dirt path. I liked staying in the hotel for the comfort level, but I never really got with it mentally for the race. Not sure if being up there early would have help or not.
