The Espresso ride is for riders who can hold 30+ km/h easily for long distances and have several years of experience group riding. These evening rides usually involve several sprints at speeds of 40+km/h.

The Coffee ride is for riders who have some experience group riding but not able to hold 30+km/h for long distances ...yet. With time Coffee riders will join the Espresso riders as speed and endurance improves.

The Decaf ride is for the rider who wants to become stronger and gain experience in group riding. You will be accompanied by at least 1 Espresso riders for guidance. Speeds are generally slower <30 km/h and no man gets left behind.

KEEP CHECKING OUT THE HOME PAGE, RIDES MAY POP UP. IF YOU ARE HAVING A RIDE AND ARE LOOKING FOR POTENTIAL RIDERS TO JOIN YOU. POST A COMMENT, YOU NEVER KNOW IF SOMEONE MIGHT SHOW UP AND JOIN YOU.

THE MORE THE MERRIER !!!

  • Wednesday 6:00 pm (The Second Cup) - Decaf ride - This is a no drop social ride. This ride is friendly to those who are new to group cycling (it is not friendly to those new to cycling! You should have some cycling experience)

  • Thursday 6:00 pm (The Second Cup) - Espresso Ride - Bring it, this one is fast. Speed is the goal!
  • Thursday 6:00 pm (The Second Cup) - Coffee Ride - This is a great ride for those who like a paceline and want to feel a bit of speed. No man left behind ride (The pack has "stop points" you can catch up at)
  • Saturday 9:00 am (The Second Cup) - Coffee ride - Distance is the name of the game on this ride.
  • Saturday 9:00 am (The Second Cup) - Decaf - This is a no drop social ride. This ride is friendly to those who are new to group cycling (it is not friendly to those new to cycling! You should have some cycling experience)

  • Sunday 8:00 am (The Greenway Parking lot) - Cyclocross or Mountain bike ride down the Greenway for breakfast, then back.
  • Special event rides are coordinated and developed at different times through out the year. They are just variations of the above rides. Some may add distances, some just a special stop for lunch, sometimes it may just be a holiday that will be a good day to ride.

There have been a few inquiries about starting a mid-week, morning ride for retirees, shift workers and vacationers. We’re going to start this Tuesday and see where this ride goes. Starting time will be 10:00 a.m. at the Zehrs Plaza .

The Saturday/Sunday rides are starting at 10am now.

They have a Thursday night trail ride for cyclocross/mountain leaving from the Ciociaro at 6:00. Usually everyone is back heading in for pizza by 8:30.

If you are looking for them on FB:
First Name: East
Last Name: Side Riders
It's actually set up as a "Person" account as opposed to a group.
