A friend of mine had a problem with this. Had to get inserts for her shoes it was so bad (over the counter from LBS). Had to do with the placement of the pedal, type of pedal, arch type etc.

What type of pedals do you have?

I think the moose is running, not biking. I get the same thing in my right foot, around the same time in my runs. A minute of walking clears it up, but it comes back once I start running again. I'm going to the orthopod when my insurance kicks in.

Spoke with a well-respected neurologist (my father) about this last night. After establishing that I did not have related back pain on the same side, he said that one of the plantar (palm of the foot) nerves was getting squashed and to investigate shoe inserts and/or better shoes.

I have the same problem but on the bike (if the op is talking about running lol). I also have really wide feet though...hmm

I think an insert might make it worse. This is really the only reason I haven't tried longer rides though.
