Hi Everyone

I have started training again after a couple of months out of the sport due to injury. I love my training and just glad to be physical again. My question is when I'm out training and I feel like doing more then my training plan says, should I just stay on the bike etc and keep going or play it safe and slowly increase each and every week? The Tri season isn't until November in Australia so there's still at least 4 months till race time.

The question is: Is your training program too easy for you or are you just like to push hard every time.  If you trust the plan stick with it.  If you think it's too easy (and you don't have a history of over doing it and injuring yourself) than adjust the plan.  But don't make large adjustments to the plan to help avoid injury.

It depends on a couple things.
1.)  Is your training part of your rehab from your injury or training for the event?  If rehab, then I wouldn't push it.

2.)  If you push harder today does it effect the next days program?

Listen to your body.  Maybe the training program you are on is too easy.  If you feel good I'd say look for a harder program or maybe even tweek the one you are on.  As long as you keep to the basics of it you should reap the rewards.
