Pre-race routine:

got there early, ate a protein bar and drank some Power ade zero...and stretched the hell out of my calf. Saw a really hunky guy wearing a wife beater stretching. He was chewing tobacco and spitting. I have a certain guilty attracting to dippers...not sure why, its pretty gross, but this guy made it work...Woooooof! So I definitely had some blood flowing after seeing him.

I am very happy with my progress. Considering that I had bronchitics and then pulled a calf times have really dropped withing the last couple weeks. bout effing time! Now to get them under 8 before 10/4.

The official race time will be somewhere around took me 4:00 to get to the start line. Since I bought my race number off of someone and they only post the first 100 finishers, I am just going to go off my watch time.
Course: I love this is a beautiful sea side run. and the eye candy was great. A few little hills, nothing of any note. The weather was perfect.
