Gretchen,

Nice Job. 30th out of 70 is Pretty darn good. You should be proud of yourself!

Sorry I missed you, but I was pretty pre-occupied. I'll have to put together some sort of a meeting for us BTers at the Nevis triathlon since this is my home course. Maybe I'll see you at Hoot Lake or Granite Man.

The rain had quit by the time we got on the course, but the roads were still wet.

Was that a nasty windy bike ride or what?

I put plastic bags around my transition crate so my towel and shoes stayed dry. I put plastic bags around critical areas of my bike as well including my cycling shoes that were clipped into the pedals. I went out to the transition area during the 6th swim wave and removed the bags and my stuff was pretty dry when I went out.

I entered my race data also. It seems as though my T2 data was lost.

Best of luck.

I was eating cereal while setting up my transition. Were you set up right next to me?

I was in the last wave, and it was quite a wait. Thankfully, there were three others from the Park Rapids area that I knew quite well also in the last wave... and one other in the 7th wave that made the wait more enjoyable.
