I haven't run for 7 days. I'm on a 16 week Olympic training plan. Last week was week 4 and was a taper kind of week, this week I should have been back at it. Last weeks scaled back training got in my head and this week, i just haven't been motivated to do anything.

1 swim (wednesday) all technique for about 40 minutes. But Mon/Tue/Thursday nothing.

Today I will try to run, then swim bike/swim sat, and another swim/run Sunday. But I basically have taken 4 days off of training this week.

Does this set people back if they are on a plan? Do you add more next week or stick to the goals?

Stick to the plan, no need to add more and risk injury and not being able to train at all.

I agree...just stick to the plan as normal.  I have slacked before too and felt a little guilty for it.  But sometimes things come up in your life besides working out and things that you cannot control.  I just tried to get back into my plan asap and kept to my schedule.  In the long-run, it didn't affect me at all.
