Subject: Where do I put my stickers?
Hi all,

I'm sorry if this is a really dumb question, but where do I put on my race number stickers for the bike? My race is tomorrow, and I realized I don't know where to put the stickers that came with my registration packet.

I have 1 medium sized sticker sheet - with my number on each end (except on one end it's upside down). And then I have a small sticker sheet (about the width of an index finger) I have seen pictures where you take the medium sheet of paper and fold it and then attach it to your bike seat or top tube, but the backing of this sheet is an adhesive... Do I cut the sheet in half so I have two stickers instead of one big one? And what do I do with the small sticker? Thank you

The larger sticker goes on the top tube of the bike.  You shouldn't need to cut it in half, but fold it over and adhese it to itself. The smaller one is probably the one that goes on the front of your helmet.

Thanks! But do I keep that sticker on there while I race? Or is it only so they can match up the bike and the person while entering/exiting the transition area at the beginning and end of the race? Should I wrap it around tightly or do I leave some room? 

Thank you again I feel better about it now - it's my first race tomorrow so I'm nervous about everything!

It should stick to itself so that the number can be read clearly from the left (for drafting calls, penalties, etc.)  I put mine on the top tube so that the number was inside the triangle of the frame.  I saw a lot of people with them on the seatpost - but with my bag I couldn't put mine there.





They need to be on for the race itself.
