Subject: British Columbia to Prince Edward Island
Hey...has anyone biked across Canada?  I am beginning to reasearch what it would take, what routes to go and all that for a few years down the road.  I am trying to plan a charity ride (solo) for an orphanage my family is connected with.  I have searched for info on routes or even anybody that has done it before and cannot find anything.  If anyone has any info let me know.

This is something I have always wanted to do. I have a couple of friends that did it last year. They were on a tandem. I am not sure about routes that they took.....but could easily find out for you.

I know of a few people that have done the ride from Coast to Coast.  I'm pretty sure they just followed the Trans Canada.  It means you are going to have to climb some monster mountains in BC but the people I know who did it and they were not avid cyclists.  They were on touring bikes loaded down and camped most of the way. 

I've really want to bike across the country myself, good luck!
