I am looking forward to this event. It's close to where I grew up, very flat, should be fun!
I just did the Vermont Trek Women's Triathlon and it was really good!

I took a look at this one but I thought it was kind of strange that the swim course was in a pool.  How does that work?  A lake swim is crowded enough I can't imagine a few hundred people jumping into a pool at the same time.  They must stagger the entries a lot.  Was this how the one in Vermont was done as well?

I think it will be a time trial like start zip zagging across the pool, the bike is 4 lap criterium style, bike and run are flat. This series is a fun and supportive event. Vermont was regular waves about 50 in each wave.

Flat sounds FANTASTIC!!  My first tri is actually this Sunday on a very hilly course.  I'm hopeful that I will get it done, take a week or so to rest and then get back to training in time for another one or two before the season is over.  I will see how things go this weekend though.  One at a time right?!

Harriman Sunday? I'm in White Plains I thought of that one but I wanted my first tri to be in a supportive situation, hence the women's tri. Good luck Sunday!

This will also be my first tri, too! I figured with Sally Edwards there, I will not be last so there is one of my goals accomplished right off the top Smile
