I was way ahead of schedule in the first half, and then the wind kicked in. And the allergies. It is quite terrifying to have a sneezing fit while descending at 41 MPH on a bike. Not unhappy with my time, and I'm convinced I could have done it in 6:30 without the headwind, but it just reinforces my need to train harder in the future.

Poor organization - no marshalls at intersections, not well marked in places, good aid stations but they were running low on water, misinformation from volunteers, no mechanical support to speak of.
