Subject: Extras that help with SBROf course swimming, cycling, and running more often would probably help in most of our cases... but what about some other "things" that could possibly help?
I can think of a few... but would like opinions.
Strong core - Of course having a strong core is important, so there's core work
Strength training - I'm thinking of starting p90x (which would also help the core ) after IMKY.
Staying flexible - start stretching and using triggerpoint therapy more often (just bought it on Sunday )
Nutrition - this is an obvious
Sleep - also an obvious
After hurting my back Sunday, and my bothersome knee problems this year (last year an 8:30 minute/mile pace was easy, this year I can't get into a groove even with a 9:30 minute/mile pace before getting knee pain ), I began to think about what I'm missing while I'm doing all of the SBR stuff that can help reduce chances of injury for next year.
