Hi, anyone know where to find a good bike route from the Ben Franklin Bridge to LBI. Need a long ride, and planning to meet the family at the shore.

This is a ride I did last year to Brigantine:

I took a different route this year after crossing 73 in NJ and rode mostly around the north side of Wharton State Forest.  I'd recommend heading that way.  There was actually a bike lane for a long stretch up there.  Then I headed south on 563 (cutting through the east side of the Forest), which is another very nice road to ride (low traffic & road quality pretty good).  Obviously, you'd want to make your way east at a different point than I did, but most of the roads over there (until you get nearer the beaches) are great for riding.

I don't know if my route out of Camden is the best, but I'm not sure there are any great options.  The riding is all pretty 'urban' until you get past 73.

Edit:  I found this site useful in constructing some of my route:  http://njbikemap.com/

Thanks; I may get the chance to try it out this weekend - thanks for the site too. It is awesome when you get out on some of those roads.

Good luck with it.  One note of caution if you map out your own route on goggle maps or something.  There are a number of 'roads' that show up on some of the maps (especially around & through Wharton) that are really unpaved trails.  I didn't have any troubles this year (and carried my Blackberry which has a mapping app), but last year I had to make a phone call to have somebody figure out which way I should head after getting turned around a few times from my planned route.

I generally assume I will end up riding at least 5-10 miles more than I map out.

Thanks. I'm laughing out loud about the Blackberry thing because I've been there more than once (including up on Valley Forge Mountain yesterday), especially trying to find exactly where I am when Google Maps gives me my "location within 2500 meters".
