Comments:

Nice run with Gaby for first ten miles before I did tempo for the last 5k. We'll see how the legs feel for the long ride tomorrow! Check results of the Montauk 140 mile ride tomorrow to see how much you all can laugh at me for doing the tempo nonsense. It was just so much fun
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

Didn't really treat this one as a race. Goal was to get in a good training run. Long run to date.

Event comments:

Wish they had something other than just water on the course...that said, the entry fee was only $20!

Since you said this was just a warm-up, what are you training for? What distances are you currently hitting? $20 for a half marathon? Damn that is good.

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, New York Road Runners are great training. Currently building toward Ironman USA in Lake Placid on July 24, 2005. Also have a half ironman next weekend...God help me! After this past weekend and next weekend, I am looking forward to a few weeks without any races.

So...no news to come on the HIM. Had the luxury of finding a just opened car door with my bike, neck and shoulder Wednesday and the doctor told me not to go in the water until I get a couple of staples out on Monday AM. Darn! Good luck with the hald in September.
