Pre-race routine:

Joe and I drove to the race together. Set up most of my transition gear. Decided to leave my bike water chilling and get back to it later. ooops. Played with puppy Joey and then George and Renee arrived and chatted until it was time to get in the water.

Can't believe I took of nearly 3 min. from July and almost 6 minutes from June!

Practice more.

Better prep pre-race.

so hard for me to get my legs from the bike. takes about 1 1/2 miles. once i got there it was smooth sailing.

Congratulations.  That is really impressive to improve so much from each race before!
Your swim and run times show amazing improvement.  Keep up the training and brick workouts!

I understand what you mean about the first mile of running.  I don't enjoy running either (especially right after biking).  But I did quite a few brick workouts in training and that seemed to help some.  Even if I went for a 30-45 min bike ride and then went for an immediate 10 min jog it really helped.  Good luck in your training and in your next race.
