Subject: Wrench Advice: Full Suspension SS I have an old (98') specialized FSR that is going to need a full drive train fix up. Well, since I don't ride it a super lot, don't have the money for a new bike, and certainly haven't mtn. bike raced in some time, I thought it would be a nice training tool to switch it to SS for winter/bad weather riding. Plus, I'd love to have a SS mtn. bike...seems like it would be fun! So, I know that chain tension is the biggest problem with FS SS. But, I don't really have the cash to buy a YESS or Paul tensioner. So, my question is this: options? would this work? I've seen a free ride guy use it: http://bike.shimano.com/publish/content/global_cycle/en/us/index/products/0/alfine/product.-code-CT-S500.-type-.html Other issues that I should consider? |
