Does anyone know anything about the master's swimming program triathlon training in Delaware or Columbus? I tried to get info online but my computer would not download the registration form.

I know scubagirl (spelling may be off) goes to one out on east Broad street.  I go to Aquatic Adventures in Hilliard.  They have some swimming classes through OMA (Ohio Multi-Sport Academy).  The classes are geared toward tri swimming.  Aquatic Adventures drop in rate is $8 for an hour class.  Or they have passes you can buy.  No contract or long term commitment.  www.aquaticeadventuresohio.com

I belong to the Columbus Sharks  www.csmst.org  and really like it.  It's early mornings and fits my schedule because it's close to downtown.  I have also heard great things about Aquatic Adventures  (Being a diver, I go there quite a bit for dive stuff) but it's out of my way on weekday mornings and their hours don't work for me.

Swimming is my favorite sport of the 3, and I am really happy with the improvement and the workout I get by belonging to the Masters Team.  I know if I went and did it on my own, I wouldn't push myself as much.

owu Masters is out until the new pool is ready fall 2010.

I swim at the Y in Powell since I live in Delaware.  My training partner, H2OLupa is a former swim coach for HS and she is rather damn GOOD at beating the CRAP out of me in the water with crazy hard workouts.  If you are into that kind of thing.  The normal warm up is 200 swim, 200 kick, 200 pull...from there...only her twisted mind knows!  Muahahwahh!  Anyone is welcome to join us.

I belong to the Hilliard Y, which is hike from Delaware, but they have a master's swim group.  Not sure if it's on the official US masters list.  Times are M/W/F from 5:30 - 6:45am.  It is $5/week if you have a Y membership.  About 2/3 of the people are swim team and the rest are triathletes.  The coach is a swim coach, but has done tris in the past so understands our goals when setting up the workouts.
