Subject: Polar s625x Battery Change
While there have been posts on changing the battery on Polar "watches", havn't come across one for the s625x.

1. Anybody do it themselves?
2. What battery does it use (in case I change it myself, I'd like to have it handy).

3. Thanks for your time in sharing.

It's a 'funky' looking battery.  Kind of like two HRM batteries put together.  The easiest way to do it is to go to a watch shop (I went to one in a mall) and had them replace it.  They know to be mindful of the gasket and to not crimp it.

It will cost you about $12.  It helps if they sell polar watches there, but it doesn't have to be a "sports" store.

I have changed the battery in my Polar watch myself.

You just need to be very careful with the gasket and how you re-assemble the watch.

As for the batteries, you usually can't find them in stores, I had to order them on the web.

But really, changing them is no big deal.

Thanks. That's what I figured (I changed my wife's R series w/no problem).

Do you know the model number of the battery (for the s625x)?
