Comments:

Course was nice. Overcast, but the sun trying to peek out. Hills were OK, but downhill on Barmore was awesome - hit 32 MPH going down and it was amazing. Ate some sport beans about 10 minutes before the transition.
What would you do differently?:

COuld have ridden harder, but was afraid to blow myself out for the run.
Transition 2

Comments:

Had difficulty racking my bike, so it took longer. Just a newbie thing - will do better next time. Helmet off, running hat on. Had a drink of water and was off.
What would you do differently?:

Think about the re-racking before. Move a little faster.
Run
  • 34m 31s
  • 3 miles
  • 11m 31s  min/mile
Comments:

Had to stop and stretch, and tighten shoelaces. Felt OK, but had to walk a little.
What would you do differently?:

Train more for the running part. Need to practice the brick more.
Post race
Warm down:

Stretched, ate a powerbar and snacks at the finish. Drank water. Walked around, and sat down little. Put on warm, dry clothes do I didn't chill.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Fear of blowing myself out before the run. I'll know better next time that I can push it a little more.
