Event warmup:

didnt have a chance to warm up...my friend who talked me into doing this race had a flat on his bike...tried to patch it...didnt hold...he ended up borrowing a bike from a friend of ours who's girlfriend was in the race...thank god he had his bike in the back of his truck....

Comments:

i had no idea what i was doing...this was my first tri..i freestyled for about the first 10m and then backstroked the rest of the way....wasnt too bad, but after that i was bound and determined to learn how to freestyle...if found Terry Laughlin's TI videos on BT and studied them and practiced at the pool....today was my long swim for the week and i did 1525m in 32min....what a difference TI made for me! i am so excited about my next race in Katy!
What would you do differently?:

watched the TI videos before :)....too bad i signed up 2 days before the race( i was talked into it) i am so glad because i am hooked now!
