I caught on with Team in Training - Illinois, and rode with them the entire way. We started with a large group, with many interlopers such as myself joining in for a while. In the end, it was four of us.
What would you do differently?:

I only hope I'm as lucky to hook up with a group as friendly and skilled as these folks were.

It was a PR.

Course: Beautiful rolling hills along the Michigan/Indiana border. The roads were pretty rough in many places, but the course was well marked, fairly free of traffic, and with good SAG stops. My overall time was 5:56, including SAG stops. The posted time is on the bike only.
