I had classes like that, and jobs, too. Oh wait, I have one of those now. I wish they would let me tele-commute. Then I could just ride my bike all day long and keep my cell phone close by for emergencies. I do IT stuff as a DoD contractor. My last job I could tele-work. My new job I can't. Plus there are a lot of other rules around here I'm not as fond of. I'm trying to get back to my old place. There is some contract ironing out right now and as soon as that is worked out I have 2 companies that say they have jobs for me. |

(or is that on the top?? im not sure when it comes to socks??) i usually wear smart wool to run/ride in. they keep my feet cool when its hot and hot when its cold. isnt that just MAGICAL?? how do they do that?  just the plainjane ones, black. stacieb I am going to try a pair of compression socks...my daughter swears by them! anyone use them? I don't use the socks but I use tights for recovery after a hard workout. I like to think they are helping but it may just be a mental thing. what brand do you use? I have one pair of sugoi compression shorts and they cut me in two! |

Just a drive-by to say: After crawling around under the house, installing heat tape and wrapping the pipes in insulation, we should be able to have water for a few more weeks. Too early for temps in the 20s. Now just keeping our fingers crossed that we close on the new house when we're supposed to. I'm making coconut shrimp with pineapple salsa for dinner. Get out there and run! (I am going out to do yesterday's run tonight, since I never got to it yesterday during the water crisis.) Go team! WOW DEBS! So are you gov't or just work for someone that does a lot of Gov't work? IT stuff is hard to do tele-commuting isn't it or did you have access to everything? Our IT guys have to set up training classrooms and all that jazz so they are required to be here. Only a select few CPA's get to tele-commute! I'm a contractor for a company who holds a contract with the gov't. I'd like to get a job as a civilian though. I do computer security, I could do my job from home. If I could keep myself at my computer. |

I haven't tried them yet. really...my dd seems to think its Zoot or nothing and dang those are expensive socks...and the pair she wears just frayed so I was going to surprise her with a pair til I saw the price....IM still in sticker shock!!!!!! geeeeeeeeeez how much can it cost to make them if they charge almost $100 a pair??? this definitely is something that makes me go...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm????????????? |
