Run
Comments: I found a rabbit early on the Longfellow Bridge. Hey "blue tights" I say, You're bright, I'm navy...let's run on blue. She didn't respond, but she did keep me at a challenging pace until the last mile before turn-around, which is when I think I lost her for good. Surprisingly, I was able to hold and keep a strong, fast pace for the whole race. I was not tempted to walk, not even for water. I just kept seeing other runners to pace off of and figured that I was running my own race pretty well, so I just let kept it going and didn't let them go. What would you do differently?: Secure my D-tag timer so that it could activate properly. Apparently you can't tuck it under a shoelace. It it intended to bob around on your foot! Post race
Warm down: Walked, ate, stretched, and felt great. What limited your ability to perform faster: I don't know since this was my Fastest 10Km ever!! Yay, a new PR! Last updated: 2009-10-09 12:00 AM

Bike to gym. Train client. Leave gym on bike. Realize almost 2 miles away that the race tag and number wasn't with me. Bike back to gym. Park on race course with only 15 minutes to spare. Find that the race starts late anyway.
None to speak of unless queueing up in the corrals counts
