ran a good first mile and got over heated. dehydration starts to set in and i can't consume the hydration needed to perform. started walking about mile 2-4. started run walking for the rest of the race. i progressively deteriorated but was able to finish.
Course: out and back on the beach then a beautiful run through a shady state park. a hot streck over a marsh about mile 8
