I went out at around 6:15 and my next mile was around 6:25, then I'm not sure, but mile 4 up the hill was really hard. The guy who won my AG passed me on that hill. So I didn't realize it at the time, but I was leading my AG until mile 4 or so. But that knowledge wouldn't have made any difference. I left it all out there on the course, especially that hill, which was extended a couple of blocks because the leading cop took a wrong turn.
Post race
Warm down:

I stretched then chatted with Brad a bit, who made me hungry talking about smoked ribs, then jogged slowly back to the car.

Event comments:

The race was fun, and for a good cause. The organization wasn't superb -- the line to pick up packets etc. moved verrrry slowly, and the race was delayed 15 minutes as a result. Still, I like this race, and I'll almost definitely do it again next year, and go for the AG win!
