Hah - does running a half mile from where I had to park the car count? Then, of course, I had to run back to the car . . . and then back to the start. I was pretty warmed up by the time the gun went off.

Comments:

Felt sluggish going out, but tried to just hold on to a sub 9 pace, which was really all I had. The race was a lot of fun - lots of families running together, people in dorky headgear, and stroller-guy kicking my butt. At least I didn't get beaten by a three-legged dog this time.
