Hello Gang!! Been busy at work and getting ready for my first event - only 12 days away. I found a last minute hotel room in downtown St Pete close to the event, so the family will be in tow for the entire weekend. We're all looking forward to it-
Still havent had a chance to swim in the wet suit yet. I've tried it on and been in the pool, but thats it. We're planning on taking the kids to the beach this weekend so I should be able to give it a test run then

Good Luck with the surgery Rebecca, here's to quick healing.

I'm having a tough time getting back into the swing of things. I did get out of bed this morning and made it to the pool. Hoping to get a bike ride in today. It's suppose to be in the high 70's.

What a gorgeous evening. 77 degrees. I was able to get out on the bike for the scheduled 20 miler. It felt so good to actually be moving again. Tomorrow should be more of the same.

I am recovering nicely from my 100 miler yesterday. Well, if the truth be told there is no "recovery" cause nothing seems to be in the least bit sore or tired.......so I guess that means I was ready to ride that far.

Actually cannot wait to do it again............anyone wanna join me??

Got almost a 5 mile run in tonight. I was trying to catch the guy in front of me. I never did, but it sure made me keep my pace.

So I went on my first group ride today. It was extremely stressful. Way too much to think about. I could not get the pace right. I was either too fast or too slow. Luckily there were a couple of helpful people.

I'm headed out for a nice long run. I need it to relax after that ride. Hopefully next time will be better.

Surgery is tuesday for torn labrum with damage to bicep tendon. Then road to recovery!
