Sorry, I mean IMKY again in 2012.  Cannot do it this summer, I will be in Alaska the same weekend as the race.  Triple T is gonna be the biggie in 2011, and then the IMKY in 2012 again.  Still hope you have a couple days to join me or watch then.

Sorry guys I've been really bad on keepin in check here.... Vacation, work, being sick are my excuse  .  But I'm back on track!!!!

Maria- good to see that you're workouts are going well. Nutrition advise- you can't go wrong w/ REAL food. That is fruits, veggies, lean meats, nuts, fish, whole-grain wheats. Anything that you get out of a box or prepackaged I usually skip.  My typical day is oatmeal w/  cup of berries, tsp of pb and maybe a yogurt, nuts for a snack, lunch is a big salad, apple for a snack, dinner is lean meat 3oz, veggies, and a grain like rice or pasta.  I did see a sports nutritionist when I started my ironman program though.  Keep up the great work

A year in review 2010:

1. Passed NCLEX and got my nursing license.
2. Started my dream job @ the Cleveland Clinic in the medical ICU March 1st.
3. Completed my 6th marathon-Flying Pig.
4. Trained and completed my 2nd triathalon and first IRONMAN!!! Was able to meet wonderful new friends through BT.
5. Got a boat.
6. Went to St. Maarten and St. Thomas in the same year (thank you new job)
7. Confirmed that I can really do anything I set my mind to.
8. Probably the best year of my life so far!!!!
9. Getting excited for the Vegas marathon in less than a month

What a great year it has been. I'm so thankful that I've had the opportunity my experiences w/ my BT friends. If 2011 is half as great as this year I'll be happy .  Still trying to figure out my race schedule but looks like TTT, spring mary, fall mary, and something in between!

It's nice to read about all of the successes this year including the non-atheletic ones.

Most of my own goals were accomplished.  I did change up some things as the year rolled on, but all in all, it was a banner year for me as far as physical fitness.  In no particular order, my list looks something like this:

1. Six sprint triathlons completed
2. Seven running events completed
3. Lost 22 lb
4. Got my cholesterol levels back to a healthy level

It feels good to reflect back on these accomplishments.  I don't think I have been this active since my high school days almost 25 years ago. I'm looking forward to next year in which I hope to do my 1st Ironman distance event.

Enrique - " Bravo" My friend!!!

Your a wonderful inspiration to me, and for that I thank you.

Not only are you an inspiration to me, but please always remember that your children are watching you.  Not only will you remember these days, but so will they. What an excellent example you are!

Know that this coming year is going to be your best year EVER! Stay strong my friend.

Thanks for the kind words Maria!  Yes, those little guys are a big motivation for me.  Thinking of them at the finish line is sometimes what gets me there.  And you are so right.  They are watching and learning aren't they?  That's a good reminder for me.

I look forward to hearing about how your year will shape up with your new determination and enthusiasm.

IM Moo race report.  Read to the bottom, it's there in long form.  Thank you all for your support and encouragement.  I could not have done it without lots of help and support from many people, including folks from BT.  I've made many friends.

St. George IM in 4 months?  Laura, you rock.  Have I ever told you that Redheads are my absolutely fav?
