Well, for better or for worse I signed up for my first race earlier this week.  Not exactly a triathlon, but it looks like a blast!  www.warriordash.com

www.warriordash.com???????

Now that looks like my kind of a race.  I miss my Adventure Racing days.   That would be pretty close.  There is a race about 2 hours away from me.  I have to check my schedule but that looks like a lot of fun.  I want to sign up for that.

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter.  I might be able to get on my bike today (outside that is).

Start of a new month, new monthly goals, Fresh calendar to get all those peaches.  I am hoping to get a couple races this month.

Hope all are having a great Easter weekend...lots of chocolate

In view of the fact that I need to minimize big time, the amount of time spent on the computer ... and get out there doing things instead ... I will be checking on the forum only occasionally from now on. I didn't want anyone to think I had jumped ship...I will still be around, but not posting much, unless there is something earth-shattering

Gotta role model less time spent on computers...want the kids out there doing things rather than on the net

Keep up the great training and happy triathlon-ing!!!

The younger ones and I enjoyed 1/2 bag of chocolate chips this morning.  Cassidy found them yesterday and made chocolate chip cookies while I was at my chiropractor appointment!  Now I have had my chocolate.  Plus, Tyler had to help with the omelette breakfast for his boy scouts and brought home chocolate from there, too.

Okay, so who is the wise guy(gal) who changed  my time to 33 hours and 40 minutes?  Or did I do that?  Anyway, I noticed the April fools joke, so thanks!

I ran yesterday and the new chiropractor did the A.R.T. and advised me to try chirunning.  So I have the book and am devouring it.  Think I will be doing the elliptical until this thing heals.  Plus, got some lower back stabilizer exercises.  Did those yesterday-the kids were doing them with me-should have gotten a picture of them doing the bird dog exercise with me!-we could have put a bunch of chocolate in front of us and we could all point at it!!!

Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
HE is RISEN!!!
