Comments: Need to learn to do freestyle more than one length. Got passed by two people. What would you do differently?: freestyle Transition 1
Comments: What I was worried about in T1 (getting shirt on, finding glasses and bike wasn't a problem, but getting on the bike was. I wasn't confident with the clipless shoes What would you do differently?: learn how to get on the bike running Bike
Comments: Need to work on hydrating before and during race because I started to cramp up on second bike lap. It also started to rain What would you do differently?: Practice hills, work on getting on and off bike, and hydrate better Transition 2
Comments: Had to put socks on and that was the hardest part Run
Comments: Cramping at beginning but got better What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Walked around, ate and drank What limited your ability to perform faster: Hydration and hills Event comments: Will do this course next year. Wife learned that if you are good at swimming but only ok at other two events, then lie about swim time and go slower so you aren't passed by everyone on the bike Also forgot to do splits on my watch because I forgot to start it before the pool Last updated: 2005-06-14 12:00 AM

Woke up, did some packing, headed to Einstein's for a bagel and a caffeine drink. Met ColoMingle and watched my wife's race since she started and finished before me.
Not enough, need to run and stretch but only consisted of walking around parts of the course
