Pre-race routine:

Didn't sleep well. Got up pretty much on time running about 10 minutes late. Drank water and ate a bagel on the way to the race.
Event warmup:

Got to the race about 1 hour before start. Got a spot in transition area. Then ran a mile. Pumped up bike tires. Rode about 3 miles. then set up bike in transition area. Got my number marked on me and went into pool to warm up. Did 100 swim, 50 kick and then another 100 swim. Pool was warm.

Swim felt good. The first race that I was able to complete flip turns the entire distance.

Maybe speed up a little sooner.

Still have to figure out those gloves.
