Beutiful day for a run. Not only was it the first run of the year in shorts, I also ended up running it in just a long sleeve shirt. Really nice day.

Goal for the day was to break 40 minutes so I went out fast. Ran the first 2 miles pretty hard, settled in for 3 and the first part of four, then picked it up again for the finish. I'd put up my splits, but the garmin is over there, and I am not.

Actually felt really good throughout, I doubt I could have gone much faster, but I didn't feel the need to puke at the end like I did last year, which was 2:21 slower. Coming around the last corner my pacer for the last mile, and everybody else around me, left me in my tracks. Had no kick left for the end. Good race.

Water, bagels, cookie, banana, and then beer, much beer. Point's 2012 Black Ale is really good.
