Ate a whole peanut butter power bar 2 hours before the race.
Event warmup:

Ran for 10mins at 7:30pace for a warmup. Stretched for 20mins.

Comments:

Felt good, a little fatigued at mile 7,8, and 10
What would you do differently?:

Not throw water all over myself, it made my shirt stick to me and restricted breathing

Warm down:

Just walked around, had a few beers, etc.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I took two weeks off, starting three weeks prior....only had one week of running again before this race.

Event comments:

Very well organized, got a medal, vera bradley bag (for mom), and won a glass....and oh by the way I PR'ed!!!
