There are Zoot Advantage shoes on sale for $66 on their website to make room for the 2.0's are they good enough to drop the money on? Does anyone have any opinion on them?

I too would like to know if anyone out there in BT land is wearing the Zoot Advantage shoes.

I'm looking at ordering a pair and I'm wondering about the fit.  Do they run a bit narrow or wide?  Is the length true to size?

I wear New Balance 1225 size 11 in a B width for my runs.  But with a couple of Sprint triathlons this year I like the idea of having a lighter weight shoe that offers quick entry and exit.  I also like that it's made to be worn without socks.

I have been using them for about 8 months. I used to be a severe pronator, lost a lot of weight and now am a mild functional overpronator. The shoes fit pretty true to size and have a fairly roomy toe box. I still use them for a lot of my runs but am transitioning to Nike Free's now.

i love the advantage but they are changing it to a running shoe with tie up laces. i got a chance to try a new pair on and they are nothing like the older model. you might want to look for a different shoe. i bought an extra pair when they went on sale. so when im ready for a new pair im gonna look at zoots other models for triathlons.

I bought a pair as I soooooo bad wanted to wear them...but I tried and I tried and I could not tolerate the blisters they kept giving me in the lower and upper heel area. I tried everything and I just gave them up.

Did anyone have this problem?

Since they just happened to have a 9.5 left, I ordered a pair.   I'll report back with my opinion.

i picked up a pair on Bonktown a few weeks ago, since I wanted to try sockless running.  First run I blistered on the heel in only 2 miles.  Second run I used a liberal amount of bodyglide on the shoe, and it solved the problem.  I only have a handful of runs (and one race) on them, but with the bodyglide they work fine and don't blister for me.

I own a pair and have had no problems with blisters. I ride and run with no socks and never have problems. Some people just get blisters.  The fit is dead on and are the most comfortable shoe I have owned. Compared to how much other shoes go for, its a deal.

Got mine yesterday and did a 10k in them this morning.  They felt awesome.....not even a single hot spot.  In my case they fit true to size...and perfectly.

I use mine the (2.0) for races and track work, i love these things, i am using ursoles in them, but next pair may use the stock insoles. I have not had any blisters, chafing, any issues at all. I run races sockless.

My wife has a pair of last years female Zoots and they have a hole in the heal and tongue for pulling them on and they come with a speedlace installed, mine (2.0) are more conventional. I believe hers are higher end as they have a carbon fiber shank and more hi tech materials used.
