Who's in? I opted to do this instead of the Caveman tri. This will be my first playtri race as well, and I've heard good things about their races. Anyone do this last year? It sounds like I'll need a wetsuit as well.

Maybe... I'll have to check... Playtri has a special if you sign up for four of their races back in december you get a huge discount, I just can't remember which races they are off the top of my head

Gary, King Tut was not one of the races. Sorry.

I am doing it. It was wetsuit legal last year. And with how long it's been cold, it will likely be wetsuit legal again. It's a fun course with a couple hills on the bike and hilly run compared to a lot of courses around here.

I will be doing this one.  This will be my very first attempt at the sport of Triathlon.  I used to be a fast twitch guy until blowing out my left ACL twice within one year.  Since my rehab was all swimming biking and running I figured why not compete a little.

Good luck,
Anthony

Officially measured water temperature yesterday: 68

Great... I went out to Grapevine lake last weekend to test out the wetsuit and the water was freezing.
