Comments:

A lot of fun. Was in the second draft. Definitely would not have been able to hang in 1st draft.
What would you do differently?:

Better position at start to avoid possible collisions with other riders.
Post race
Warm down:

Rode slowly for a few minutes. Stretched and drank some water and Powerade.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Age and experience.

Event comments:

I would ride this race again. It's competitive but it's fun.

Good race. Averaging over 20 mph for over 20 miles is great. I'm close, but can't quite get over that elusive 20 mph average for anything longer than 10 - 12 miles. Congratulations.

Remember this was a road race and we used the draft. Without it I probably would have averaged less.. say 18.5 to 19.5 depending on the wind.

I'd do this race just cause of the name.

On the other hand, I'm still getting used to riding in a pack, doing it in a race environment probably wouldn't be a good idea at this point.

Sounds like you had a good time!
