You have some posts up here about how this year has been a significant increase in training load and how you've had some recovery issues. If this is still a concern for you, I wouldn't consider this. I know when I trained for my IM I was grateful for the swims because they were "easy" days. If you add run time, I think that I would add another day of running, and not increase the times for all the runs. You've got some pretty decent run mileage already and I think going after frequency instead of duration would minimize the risk of injury. Also consider that although the race times are not equal, there is something to be said for not being exhausted when you get on the bike! |
