Comments:

Great ride I felt I was flying but was getting passed constently on the way out I bet 30 people passed me I passed 4. At the turnaround we were met with a strong headwind so I shifted to the small chain ring and tried to stay areo but at this point my back hurt and I spent a good deal of time on the bars. At the start of the ride I planned to keep my hr at 131 my computed LT about 4 miles in I was at 145 but I decided to not slow down as I was geting passed over and over lol avereged 20+ on the way out

Comments:

It was hot! I had real bad back cramps about 1 mile in had to stop to walk I did a fair amout of walking the first lap. Early on I spotted a guy with 45 on his calf and made him my target If I could keep ahead of him I would not be last. Kind of played tag the first 3.1 let him get a head then run and catch him on the second lap I just passed him and only walked the water stops. I picked out 3 more guys during the last mile and passed them all.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing I need to fix some things in my training
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

I need to train harder I have not pussed myself and that is where I need to make the big changes in my training.

Event comments:

I hate to say this but I was very disappointed in the event. Long line at check in and dispite the effort of the volunteers it was disorganized. Swag was a t shirt some flyers and a cheap bag.
